Heritage Village Tour & Exhibits
Heritage Village is a living museum of pioneer history. The 1800's era village is recreated from historic buildings and artifacts such as a Cherokee Church, Tolar Cabin, and Collier Store. The village also boasts era structures such as railroad depot, jail, saloon, livery stable, barber shop and bath house, and a blacksmith shop just to name a few. There are several exhibit halls on site with examples of era artifacts, textiles and crafts of trade. Heritage Village is also home to the world famous Pickett House Restaurant serving boarding house style all-you-can-eat fried chicken, chicken & dumplings, country vegetables, cobbler, biscuits and cornbread and all different condiments for your liking.
